Drama movies captivate the audience with fascinating plots and

2. 1917 (2019)
April 1917, the Western Front. Two British soldiers are sent to
deliver an urgent message to an isolated regiment. If the message is not
received in time the regiment will walk into a trap and be massacred. To get to
the regiment they will need to cross through enemy territory. Time is of the
essence and the journey will be fraught with danger.
3. Joker (2019)
Joker centers around an origin of the iconic arch nemesis and is
an original, standalone story not seen before on the big screen. Todd Phillips'
exploration of Arthur Fleck (Joaquin Phoenix), a man disregarded by society is
not only a gritty character study, but also a broader cautionary tale.
4. Little Women (2019)
In the years after the Civil War, Jo March lives in New York and
makes her living as a writer, while her sister Amy studies painting in Paris.
Amy has a chance encounter with Theodore, a childhood crush who proposed to Jo
but was ultimately rejected. Their oldest sibling, Meg, is married to a
schoolteacher, while shy sister Beth develops a devastating illness that brings
the family back together.
5. The French Dispatch (2020)
A love letter to journalists set in an outpost of an American
newspaper in a fictional 20th-century French city that brings to life a
collection of stories published in "The French Dispatch" magazine.
