When will the next Microsoft Xbox be released? This must
have been a big concern since Sony officially unveiled its PS4 last week. There were reports that indicate a
June release event of Xbox on the E3 before. But some clues and reports
suggested that Microsoft might put the date forward, pointing to early April
release. And, just the very recent, Rob Crossley, the editor of CVG,
leaked the official release date of Microsoft’s next Xbox via her Twitter
account. In her Twitter, she mentioned that “The next Xbox event is scheduled
for April 26th, I’ve been told by someone I trust. Microsoft may
change date, obvs, but dirise tentatively.” Taking into account of the
previous rumors that Microsoft would make some big moves in April, this new
report seems to be great possible.
As for the detailed specs of Xbox 720, there’s no official
information. But most rumors give the console the code name "Durango". And according to VGLeaks’ claims, it’s going to be a pretty powerful system as
well. If the rumors are true, it will rival the PlayStation 4's innovation of 8
GBs of RAM, making this a very close battle between systems.
