The CES 2013 is just
around the corner, but the reports about Vizio’s new Windows 8 tablet has been
full in the market. Vizio has just released a new Windows 8 tablet. The new
Windows 8 tablet is reported to feature an 11 inches screen. The shinning point
of this new tablet is that it is the first Windows 8 tablet to adopt AMD Z60
chipset. Besides, the 1080P HD screen
resolution and the Microsoft Windows 8 OS also add more weights to this tablet.
The AMD Z60 chipset is released by AMD for Hondo platform
with low power consumption. It comes with 1.0GHz dual-core processor, just like
the Radeon HD 6250 chipset. As it is the first time to configure on tablet,
there’s no on-hand data to know its performance. The processor is running on
2GB RAM and 64GB firm hard disk storage. The tablet would come with a built-in
2MP front camera for video chatting, micro-HDMI and microUSB ports.
It’s still unknown on the price and detailed marketing time.
Very possibly it would appear on the Las Vegas 2013 CES.
