Lenovo announces Windows 8 IdeaPad Yoga 11S with Ivy Bridge processor

Lenovo just announced its new device IdeaPad Yoga 11S laptop. The IdeaPad Yoga 11S looks very similar to Yoga 11, but gets improved a lot in configurations. IdeaPad Yoga 11S runs on the Ivy Bridge processor to greatly improve the laptop performance, while Yoga 11 comes with ARM chipset. Also, in operating system, as this new laptop adopts x86 OS, it features the full Windows 8 OS, but not the Windows 8 RT version on Yoga 11.
Alongside the processor improvement, the screen resolution of Yoga 11S has also been improved greatly to 1600x900 IPS screen, compared to the 1366x768 pixels LCD screen display of Yoga 11. That means the Yoga 11S would no doubt deliver better visual effect for HD movie enjoyment.

Other features of Yoga 11S include: 8GB RAM, 128GB hard disk memory storage, dual-core Intel Core i5 processor. As reported, the Yoga 11S won't be available until sometime in June 2013, starting at $799.
