The 24-year-old pop singer star Rihanna just
premiered her latest music video for her new single Where Have You Been, off
her sixth studio album Talk That Talk, to show her wild side - quite literally - as she dresses up as
various animals in the tribal-themed video. The video features choreography by
Hi-Hat and was directed by David Meyers, while the track was produced by Calvin
Harris, Dr. Luke, and Cirkut. For the official world premiere of the new music
video, Rihanna excitedly tweeted that: “It's
time for #WhereHaveYouBeen! Can we get da most @VEVO video views EVER in 24 hrs
starting NOW! RT me if ur wit me.” In her new sexy video, Rihanna shows
that scorching desert heat and gross, damp marshland can't keep her from
dancing. RiRi starts the video emerging from a bog, sort of like a Swamp Thing,
before hitting the beat hard with hip-thrusting grooves. She also visits a
sun-baked desert to bust a move with what appears to be a gypsy tribe before
shifting to a dark, smoke-filled cave. Rihanna then assumes a multi-armed form,
similar to a Hindu deity, as images of a tribal shaman and multiple Rihannas
gyrate onscreen. After her spiritual moment, the pop princess returns to the
dank swamps, her apparent home.
