Shakira has
just released the music video for "Addicted to You", the fifth single
off her third bilingual album Sale el Sol.
The 35-year-old Colombian singer worked with director Anthony Mandler on the
video, which was shot in Los Angeles in just one day. The bilingual
"Addicted To You" is a colorful, Latin-infused record that perfectly
showcases Shaki's one-of-a-kind vocals. The verses are in Spanish, but the
chorus is in English and speaks to a feeling we can all relate to -- being
addicted to your significant other. "I’m addicted to you, porque es un
vicio tu piel. Baby I’m addicted to you, quiero que te dejes querer,” Shakira
sings on the track. The music video begins with Shakira in a steamy bath,
shaded by sheer drapes. The beat begins with drums and music and a harmony to
introduce the song. After that, scenes of Shakira dressed in various tight and
short costumes are seen, with the Colombian beauty dancing in time with the
beat as she playfully walks and moves through a village or just around the
