The governments worldwide still call for staying at home and avoiding social contact since the pandemic of COVID-19 hasn’t been controlled to the ground yet. Numerous confirmed cases are increasing per second. Against such backdrop, people are urged to avoid unnecessary hangout and it is better to stay at home during their free time. How to kill this boring time? My suggestion is to watch a movie with my family, because this will not only consume time, but also enhance the relationship between family members. Comedy Central is a big hub to a lot of comedy-themed movies that are usually aimed for a mature audience. Today, I’m going to make some recommendations of Comedy Central movie for your reference.
1. Words Words Words
Aired by Comedy Central in October 2010, Words Words Words is a record of Burnham’s performance at the Boston House of Blues in May 2010. Burnham’s performance was part of Comedy Central’s House of Comedy Live from House of Blues. During this performance, Burnham performed alongside c
omedian Myq Kaplan. As long as it aired on Comedy Centra, a total of 700,000 viewers watched it, for which the 2010 Edinburgh Comedy Awards nominated Burnham for Best Comedy Show. But, he only ended up winning the Panel Prize. His album is also on the list of Billboard top 40 charts.
An unrated one-disc DVD of the performance was also released within the same month. It also came with its own live album that became available on Amazon and iTunes Store.
2. New in Town
New in Town is a Comedy Central special featuring the comedian John Mulaney. It aired on Comedy Central in January 2012 and is a recording of one of Mulaney’s stand up performances, which featured Mulaney’s thoughts on a wide variety of very random things. Among the things he talked about were his looks, childhood, TV shows, girlfriend and charms. Things took a weird turn as he also talked about his random meetings with a homeless man in New York and with an elderly man in a bathroom. Probably the weirdest of them all is him talking about taking a prostate exam with Batman.
3. Gyecological Wonder
Gynecological Wonder aired in July 2015. It is a record of a live performance of comedian Bridgete Everett, which took place at Joe’s Pub in New York. In Gynecological Wonder, Everett puts out her usual alt-cabaret provocateur self. Except for comedy and dirty jokes, Everett also performed several songs during the special along with her band.
4. Perfect
Nikki Glaser’s Perfect is another Comedy Central special that you should take into consider watching. Aired as a one-hour TV special in April 2016, this is a record of Glaser’s live stand-up comedy performance that took place in New York. In Perfect, Nikki Glaser talks about her thoughts on becoming an adult woman and what it means to be one. She also talks about porn and sexual shame and her relationship with these topics. The interesting topics, as well as Glaser’s sharp wit, makes this a special you would want to see.
5. Don’t Be Yourself
Don’t Be Yourself is a Comedy Central special that aired in May 2017. Amy Schumer produced this one-hour special for Mark Normand. Normand always performed as the opening act to Schumer’s stand-up comedy performances. But now, its Normand’s turn to take center stage. Normand did just that with his performance. He reveals his own thoughts as well as his anxieties in this stand-up performance. But, once he goes beyond himself, the show really started to get going.
All of these 5 recommendations are available in YouTube TV or Comedy Central App. Here I also recommend a powerful downloader to you - Leawo Video Downloader. With Leawo Video Downloader, you can download them as required and even download latest Marvel movies. Leawo Video Downloader needs you to download the software before you download the video but it really owns the power to download video in high speed. The most of the downloaders in the market are Chrome extensions that can certainly save the storage room of your computer but it’s troublesome for those who don’t use Google Chrome. What’s worse, there are really tons of ads and they interrupt your playback of videos, which is quite annoying. That’s all of my recommendation and you can choose the one that satisfies your needs.
