The final trailer for "Logan", Hugh Jackman's superhero swan song as the X-Man Wolverine, was just
released.
Logan is an upcoming American superhero film featuring the Marvel Comics character Wolverine, produced by Marvel Entertainment, TSG Entertainment and The Donners' Company, and distributed by 20th Century Fox. It is intended to be the tenth installment in the X-Men film series, as well as the third and final Wolverine solo film following X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009) and The Wolverine (2013). The film takes inspiration from "Old Man Logan" by Mark Millar and Steve McNiven, which follows a past-his-prime Logan undertaking a final adventure in the post-apocalyptic future.
About the synopsis of Logan: In the near future, a weary Logan cares for an ailing Professor X in a hide out on the Mexican border. But Logan’s attempts to hide from the world and his legacy are up-ended when a young mutant arrives, being pursued by dark forces.
Little else is still known about the film despite its trailer, though we know that the primary villains for the film will include The Reavers as well as Wolverine’s favorite group, Weapon X. Mr. Sinister’s role in the film will likely be tied to the creation of X-23, played by Dafne Keen in the film, the young female clone of Wolverine also along for the film’s road trip.
