The 30-year-old American Idol Kelly Clarkson has just premiered the official music video for her latest single Dark Side, the third release from her Strong album to be out due on June 5th.
Though this new single has been performed by Kelly Clarkson in several
occasions, this is the official premiered music video for this single. Directed
by Shane Drake, in this brand new
music video, various down-and-out people in sorrow are shown: a man who lost
his job due to the poor economy; a young woman dissatisfied with her weight; a
victim of bullying; a returning war veteran who lost a leg. But Clarkson
lyrically shows her own well of inner strength by singing “Don’t run away, don’t run away, just tell me that you will stay,
promise me you will stay”, though she does come across as more vulnerable
here. The video also makes a hint for a bright future after dark side with the
scenes that ocean waves crash and the sun begins to shine. The video ends with
the songstress embracing each of the disenfranchised folks in the clip. Watch
